World Premiere Recordings from the International Shostakovich Festival Gohrisch

I am grateful to the organizers of the International Shostakovich Festival Gohrisch for premiering previously unperformed works by Dmitri Dmitriyevich Shostakovich. These works were found by musicologist Olga Digonskaya and published by DSCH Publishers, Moscow. To mark the 50th anniversary of the composer’s death, this Deutsche Grammophon album with some of Shostakovich’s unknown works has been released. I have no doubt that it will be a well-deserved success among fans and lovers of Shostakovich’s music - Irina Shostakovich
