Wake Me When It's Over is the second album by Faster Pussycat, and was released in 1989. On this album the sleazy Hollywood band (whose name was lifted from a Russ Meyer flick) moved away from the glam metal of their first album to a more blues-influenced sound. It contains the power ballad "House of Pain", which was the band’s first commercially big hit, the music video was directed by future film director Michael Bay.
