The Original Source Series from Deutsche Grammophon features celebrated recordings reissued on vinyl.Ā Remastered by the renowned Berlin-based Emil Berliner Studios using 100% pure analogue techniques to createĀ versions of the highest possible audio quality. Produced on 180g virgin vinyl by Optimal and housed in deluxeĀ gatefold editions, featuring additional photos and/or recording documentation. For the first time, OSS will use theĀ original stereo master 2-track tape as source. Starting with 4-track in 2023 and expanding to 8-track in 2024, theĀ year 2026 will see the first 2-track OSS release.
