Von Mollestein incorporates industrial compositions blended with fast unapologetic black metal riffs. The band members include Dunkelwalt on guitar and programming, Mr. Cooger on screams and grunts, and Dr. West on bass.

Von Mollestein is greatly influenced by the work of Clive Barker (especially Hellraiser and the Cenobites) as well as horror literature and movies.
