Tamburi

Tamburi is a sonic journey through Southern Italy, more specifically Taranto and its province (the artist's hometown), but not into the past. Ancient sounds and words blend with electronic instruments and futuristic visions to evoke, rather than describe, what happens, what blends, what is felt in a complex territory that, however, retains its naive beauty, between sea and sun. It's a sonic journey through a lifetime, yet one that's easy to identify with. In the journey between who we were and who we will be, where we come from and where we are, where we will go, we are all the same, and it doesn't even matter what.
