Village Live Records are proud to present âSpace For The Kiddâ / âNeuralgiaâ, the new 7â vinyl release by Berlin-based band Move 78 & vocalist Douniah.
Both tracks were initially recorded as part of a jam session Move 78 did for a guest mix on BBC 6 Music at the end of 2022. These improvised recordings were then torn apart, rearranged and restructured into two contrasting instrumentals.
âSpace For The Kiddâ is a meandering, dream-like soundscape, featuring the hypnotic vocals of Douniah floating in clouds of synths and French horn. Whereas âNeuralgiaâ is a much heavier and fast-paced track, driven by a pounding rhythm section, rapid-fire viola and glitched-out sound effects.
