Finnish metal innovators Gladenfold return with Soulbound — their most ambitious, melodic, and emotionally charged album to date. Blending soaring power-metal grandeur, melodeath precision, and symphonic depth, the band delivers a dramatic and accessible concept album about fate, cycles, and the consequences of our choices. After the darker Nemesis, Soulbound marks a shift toward bright melodies, powerful hooks, and a refined, cinematic sound. Growls take a step back in favor of clean vocal expression, while the band pushes their technical and compositional limits further than ever. Tracks like “Ghostlike” and “Soulbound Parallax” highlight the album’s emotional core and musical evolution. The album was created entirely by the band: recorded in home studios, mixed in-house by Toke, and mastered by Miro Kiiski. The result is Gladenfold’s most cohesive and polished work yet — a vibrant, modern blend inspired by the spirit of Kamelot, Blind Guardian, and Children of Bodom. W
