Tom Seals has performed sold out shows on some of the worldsâ most prestigious stages including Londo Palladium, Dubai Opera House, Birdland Jazz Club, The Blue Note, and Ronnie Scottâs, with his music taking him to over 100 countries. His festival appearances include Glastonbury, North Sea Jazz, Montreux Jazz Festival, Steinway Two Pianos, and with CC Smugglers supporting Pink Floyd to 70,000 people in Londonâs Hyde Park at The British Summer Time Festival. He has performed alongside Gregory Porter, Jamie Cullum, Dame Cleo Laine and Hugh Laurie. Tom regularly performs a duelling pianos show alongside his boogie woogie inspiration, Jools Holland and was awarded the coveted âBoogie Woogie Artist of The Yearâ title from Jools himself.
Live in London is Tomâs first live album. Using âjazzâ as an umbrella term for the album which plays host to many genres; including jazz, blues, swing, rock ânâ roll, boogie woogie and stripped back intimate piano/vocal. Featuring Big Band classics such as Ray Charlesâ âLet The Good Times Rollâ, Glen Campbellâs country staple âWichita Linemanâ, a jazz version of âThe Boys Are Back In Townâ, a laid back interpretation of Olivia Dean tune âFlowersâ and Tomâs infamous boogie woogie.
The album also debuts an original tune, âHeading For The  Heartlandâ, co-written with Slade legend, Noddy Holder. With incredible musicianship from Tomâs band; including Roger Inniss (Chaka Khan, Ruby Turner and now Musical Director for Kiefer Sutherland), Bjorn Woodhall (Bruno Mars, Simply Red, Lusaint), Chris âBeebeâ Aldridge (Ben E King, Gary Barlow, Rudimental) and the rest of the band which are currently performing on the highest jazz stages around the world; Ronnie Scottâs House Band, The Blue Note and The Royal Albert Hall
