Instabasua

In the Apennine area called the "Four Provinces" there is a centuries-old tradition of dances, songs and ritual celebrations animated by the pair of piffero (popular oboe) and accordion. Stefano Valla and Daniele Scurati are the direct successors of this ancient repertoire, interpreting it in a masterful way and renewing it through contemporary stimuli. Instabasua, the latest album in a long recording history, contains the sum of their musical art through traditional dances and songs, alongside convincing new compositions.
