From deep blues (Je reviens vers toi) to bold experimentation (Rap’N’Roll) and socially engaged lyrics (Oligarque, Ne touche pas), the album reveals a mature, incisive, and uncompromising songwriting style. Nostalgia is never far away (C’était mieux avant, Au temps qui passe), carried by the clear-eyed perspective of an artist who has witnessed the world evolve.The album closes with Rain On Blood, an intense instrumental blending Spanish-tinged acoustic sounds with an electric onslaught.
