Far Beyond Driven

Far Beyond Driven is Pantera’s seventh studio album, released in 1994. Widely regarded as one of the heaviest mainstream metal albums ever made, it pushed the band’s groove-metal sound into darker, more aggressive territory while still achieving major commercial success. Featuring standout tracks such as “5 Minutes Alone,” “I’m Broken,” and “Becoming,” the album combines crushing riffs from Dimebag Darrell, intense vocals from Phil Anselmo, and a heavier, more down-tuned sound than the band’s previous work. It closes with a surprising cover of Planet Caravan by Black Sabbath.
