Days

Kashaiof is the project of interdisciplinary artists Eyal Lally Bitton and Itzik Gil Avizohar, exploring the boundaries of electroacoustic composition through modular synthesis, ultrasonic feedback, field recordings, acoustic instrumentation, and fractured song structures. Drawing from musique concrète and elektronische musik, their latest album Days unfolds through repetitive post-industrial rhythms, folk chants, quaking synthesis, and enigmatic sound objects that gradually crystallize into dense emotional landscapes. Following the acclaim of Home (2020) and MA (2022), Days further expanded the duo’s recognition. The Quietus described the record as “something strange and new, something special,” while PopMatters praised its “spectral amalgamation of styles” and “fragile, ephemeral electroacoustic sculptures.” Emerging from a place of vulnerability and longing, Days meditates on the transformative and unstable nature of sound itself.
