During his 25-year career as a storytelling balladeer in the tradition of John Prine, Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan, Tim Grimm has rightfully earned a reputation as a master songwriter at the top of his form. In spring of 2024 he released a the single, Broken Truth, a heartfelt ballad reflecting his anguish over current American politics. Broken Truth finished 2024 as the #1 most-played song on folk radio, marking the fifth time in ten years one of Grimm's songs has received that distinction.
