Finally, the Gramophone critic expected “extraordinary things” of Marc-André Hamelin in CPE Bach’s Sonatas and Rondos. It’s safe to say her instincts were proved correct: “In short, I cannot think of a better introduction to CPE Bach on the modern piano.”
