2014 NYC

For King Crimson, New York has long been central to the band’s history from the Fillmore East in 1969 to the acclaimed 2014 return of its bold three-drummer line-up. 2014 NYC launches a new live series documenting the band’s 2014–2021 era, compiled from four nights of multi-track recordings captured in September 2014. Featuring revitalised performances of classics including “Starless,” the set captures a band still reinventing its sound with precision and power. The 2LP edition is cut by Jason Mitchell at Loud Mastering, pressed on 200g audiophile vinyl, and includes new sleevenotes by biographer Sid Smith.
